Instructions on how to navigate this report

1. The filters at the top change the charts

  • Who left: pick the category (voluntary, involuntary, retirement), the department (All MFG, Packaging, Processing, or Nazdar SG&A to compare), and tenure at exit (time on the job when they left).
  • When: pick the From and To months.
  • Reset filters puts everything back to the default.

2. The menu on the left has one section per question

  • Overview: start here. The key numbers and the story in six lines. Click a line to jump to its evidence.
  • 01 Turnover by month: separations by month, department, category and time on the job, with the reasons.
  • 02 New-hire retention: how many new hires stayed 30, 90 and 180 days, by hire month and hire source.
  • 03 Shifts and supervisors: departures against team size by shift. The supervisor view opens under the charts.
  • 04 Injuries and lost days: injuries by time on the job, and injuries and lost days against turnover. This is the only section that reaches back to January 2024; its two date buttons change only its headline and the chart under it.
  • 05 Monthly bridge: hires, departures and headcount month by month.
  • 06 Employee voice: what exit codes and the listening sessions say.
  • 07 This page: how to use the report, and how the numbers are worked out.

3. Reading the charts

  • Hover over any bar to see the exact number.
  • Click: on some charts, clicking a bar filters the page to it.
  • Skim: each chart has a one-line takeaway above it. Show as table under a chart lists its numbers.

4. Good to know

  • The link keeps your view. Copy the address bar and send it; the other person sees the same section and filters.
  • Briefing view: the small link next to Reset filters shows the same data on one screen.
